We are currently seeking a Senior Universal Banker III to join our team. As a Senior Universal Banker III, you will be responsible for opening new consumer and complex business accounts, processing account transactions, cross-selling bank products and services, and providing exceptional customer service. This role requires compliance with all bank policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal banking regulations.


- Conduct interviews and profile customers to recommend appropriate banking products and services

- Actively cross-sell bank products and services to new and existing customers

- Generate new business to meet bank profitability and branch goals

- Collaborate with other business lines within the bank to identify sales opportunities

- Open and support consumer and business accounts, including checking, savings, CDs, IRAs, and Trust & Estate Accounts

- Provide support for essential Treasury Services for business clients

- Maintain thorough knowledge of bank products and services

- Stay updated on applicable New Account laws, procedures, account titling, and required documentation

- Ensure all documentation is approved and uploaded in the core system

- Process teller transactions and maintain accurate balancing records

- Respond to client inquiries and requests regarding accounts

- Adhere to banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act

- Prepare and process various reports as assigned

- Provide expedient and courteous service to clients in person and via phone

- Model exemplary customer service and resolve difficult situations creatively and diplomatically

- Proactively identify and retain "at-risk" customers

- Look for opportunities to exceed customer expectations and provide exceptional service

- Perform other duties as assigned

Backup Supervisory Duties:

- Process Daily Large Transaction report and submit to Compliance Department

- Approve large transactions for teller staff within assigned limit

- Provide supervisor override for transactions requiring review

- Support Branch Manager or backup with assigned duties

- Handle difficult client situations in the absence of the Branch Manager or backup


- Minimum of three years of banking teller experience

- Advanced experience with opening consumer and complex business accounts

- Prior supervisory experience preferred

- Strong customer relations skills and ability to communicate effectively with employees and customers

- Knowledge of basic banking regulations such as BSA and Information Security

- Excellent judgment, responsibility, and ability to handle confidential information

- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and banking programs
