Job Description

Seeking a Telecom Support Analyst for a 6-9+ month project.  The ideal candidate will help with project deployment and will also assist and manage vendors and carrier conversions.  Must have experience working with Carriers such as Verizon, Cabling Vendors, and working on legacy key telephone systems such as Nortel BCM, Norstar, Executone, etc.   Working hours are: 6am PST to 3pm PST and must be flexible to occasionally work overnight hours on cutoffs.  Qualified candidates may work onsite in Pleasanton, CA or  be allowed to work virtually.

Key deliverables include:

• Document and update current voice network designs, topologies, and carrier information
• Installation, relocation, testing, and maintenance of voice networks and facilities
• Document troubleshooting procedures and design resolution scripts.
• Document voice network engineering and implementation specifications.
• Uphold and support documentation standards, procedures and approval hierarchies.

Other required skill sets include:

o Knowledge of ADTRAN Gateway’s and/or Cisco Switch Configuration for voice network design.
o Knowledge of VoIP, voice switching and multiple Private Branch Exchange (PBX) architecture.
o Critical thinking with strong analytical ability to judge, manage onsite Tech(s) and resolve issues quickly
o Ability to understand and interact with Telecom LEC and Carrier.  Establish a rapport with onsite 3rd Party Technicians, Vendor Services, Carrier Management and internal Field Services personnel 
o Strong skills with Microsoft Excel, Office, Office 365 One Drive, Outlook, written and oral communication.
