Job Title: Technical Writer/ Security Professional

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 7+ months



The successful candidate will assist with the definition, creation, publication, and maintenance of the Firm's Security Blueprints documentation. The candidate must be able to manage the documentation lifecycle from inception through content retirement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Enterprise Security and will be an excellent conversation facilitator. This position requires someone who is proactive, collaborative and able to independently manage deadlines and workload. The candidate will be creative and persistent in enlisting the cooperation of stakeholders and SMEs. The candidate must have excellent writing and editing skills in addition to technology security experience. Web content development experience is preferred.

Required skills:

Skills Required:

* Degree or minimum 5 years of experience in technical writing, communications, or technical field

* Excellent technical writing and editing skills with attention to detail

* Demonstrated knowledge of either Enterprise Infrastructure or Software Security best practice, preferably in a Financial Services company

* Demonstrated time management ability

* Results-focused, with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities to published deadlines* Excellent organizational and presentation skills

* Independent with strong creative problem solving skills

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with all professional levels of the organization

* Willingness to take ownership of team work items and goals; strong commitment to high quality standards.

* Microsoft Office proficiency, specifically, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
