Job Description

Tax & Investment Rep - Looking to acquire upbeat, positive, multitasking individuals within a high level banking institution.Tax and Investment Reps will be responsible for handling Wire Transfers, Investing, Tax, etc. Qualified candidates for the Tax and Investment Rep role will need some sort of money movement experience with ACH and Wire Transfers, but not tellers handling cash. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Interpret, research and resolve equity, mutual fund, and options service requests generated from Client Services on behalf of client base.

  • Process complex customer requests and have complete ownership of issues through to resolution

  • Interact with representatives from our Customer Service Centers, as well as business partners throughout Operation.

  • Adhere to established standard policy and procedures.

  • Balance a workbasket of work items.

  • Manage inquiries from business partners.

  • Prioritize customer issues based on potential monetary loss, market sensitivity and customer model.

  • Participate in team initiatives, projects, brainstorming sessions and testing.

  • Ability to enter data into applications with zero error rate in a timely manner.

  • Ability to shift responsibilities throughout the day as needed.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency.

  • General knowledge of ACAT transfers, ACH, Wire, Cost Basis, Tax, Margin, Estate, IRA, Corporate Actions, Trading processes.

  • General knowledge of the investment industry, especially operations.

Job Requirements

Experience/Qualifications/Personal Qualities:

  • Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years’ experience in customer service or service operations

  • Brokerage experience preferred

  • Strong and effective verbal and written communication skills

  • Demonstrated attention to detail, with good follow-through

  • Strong organizational, planning, multi-tasking and time management skills

  • Demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and mitigate potential areas of risk

  • Must be able to meet overtime commitments
