Job Description


.NET Developer/.NET Architect will be responsible for the overall design, development, modification, testing, and/or implementation of short- and long-term software solutions to meet both business and technical needs. Review and translate business requirements into technology and system solutions. Work within an agile project team to deliver digital solutions.

.NET Developer/.NET Architect Essential Job Functions

  1. Lead software design for complex project(s). 
  2. Create application architectures and system designs in keeping with bank standards and enterprise-grade practices.
  3. Coordinate with cross functional teams as needed; including Marketing, Product, UX/VD, Security and Operations.
  4. Review and translate functional and non-functional requirements.
  5. Conduct a wide range of highly complex quality control tests and analyses to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards and end-user requirements.
  6. Review and develop improvements to system requirements and business processes; code, test, troubleshoot and implement software solutions.
  7. Ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and deployed.
  8. Establish project improvements to increase efficiency.
  9. Develop software policies, standards and procedures.
  10. Revise and approve test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with technology implementation and standards.
  11. Ensures that system tests are successfully completed and documented and all problems are resolved.
  12. Participate in agile sprint planning, sprint grooming and retrospectives. 
  13. Contribute to release planning and deployment guides as needed.
  14. Coordinate and communicate application support activities with key stakeholders.
  15. Provide technical support and mentoring to team members as needed.

.NET Developer/.NET Architect Qualifications

  1. 7+ years of experience developing enterprise level systems on the .NET framework using C# and the .Net Framework
  2. 3+ years of experience developing applications using Microsoft ASP.Net MVC and Web API, Entity Framework, other ORMs.
  3. 3+ years of development experience with Sitecore enterprise CMS.
  4. Working knowledge of front end tools and technologies like HTML5, CSS, Twitter Bootstrap, Javascript and JQuery.
  5. Excellent understanding of SQL and relational database design using Microsoft SQL Server.
  6. Excellent debugging skills using Visual Studio, as well as browser debuggers and SQL Server tracing.
  7. Experience working with web services and third party API integrations.
  8. Experience with TFS, HP Quality Center, Visual Studio and ReSharper.
  9. Self-Starter who takes ownership and drives issues to closure.
  10. Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
