•        The Systems Analysis Senior position will be part of the Single Family Underwriting Delivery Services Department in the Information Technology Division.

•        The position will be responsible for leading the systems analysis efforts for one or more projects of varying complexity and duration in support of our Single-Family Operations and Customer Relationship departments.

•        This is an opportunity to join a fast paced team and utilize your experience working with various IT organizations to deliver best in class technology solutions. Responsibilities include:

•        Review and analyze Business Data Requirements, Business Requirements and Sample Data to elicit detailed data mapping requirements, including transformations and relationships between the data, data integrity and constraints

•        Manage the coordination of assigning resources to meet demand, schedules and goals of assigned projects

•        Maintain responsibility for the overall requirements deliver for assigned projects

•        Research and evaluate alternative solutions and recommending the most efficient and cost effective solution for the systems design considering existing systems, available technology, the capacity and limitations of application and desired results

•        Frequently interact with directors, subordinate supervisors, business customers and/or functional peer group managers

•        Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends

•        Drive key requirement decisions

•        Act as mentor to junior team members

•        Work closely with developers and a variety of end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction

•        Become subject matter expert across assigned domain and applications with general understanding of upstream and downstream interfaces.

•        Identify process gaps and recommending process improvements across project teams and delivery services by challenging status quo, fostering innovative thinking and engaging key stakeholders

•        Responsible for ensuring the final product meets customer's expectations

•        Designing a detailed systems testing plan to ensure an accurate and effective product

•        Actively facilitating issue tracking & resolution

•        Identifying mitigation steps and ensuring risks and issues are mitigated/resolved in a timely manner;

•        Providing guidance for resolution of complex risks/issues

Basic Requirements:

•        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, related field or equivalent work experience

•        Typically has 5-7 years' work experience in Systems Analysis and Requirements Development

•        Experience with software life-cycle processes in a highly regulated environment

•        Experience with writing detailed data requirements for system integration and development projects

•        Experience with usability methods, techniques and design principles to create design deliverables such as process flows, wireframes, mock-ups and user interfaces

•        Experience with SQL to perform data analysis and developing process flow diagrams in Visio

•        Experience translating/explaining technical decisions into business terms

•        Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage assignments with varying timelines

•        Proven ability to lead a team, projects, and initiatives

•        Experience producing the Level of Effort (LOE) for project requirements deliverables

•        Demonstrated ability to interact with various teams, both business and technical, to achieve goals

•        Demonstrated success supporting multiple projects, involving multiple systems, possibly on multiple platforms

•        Ability to articulate system requirements that support business requirements

Job Requirements

Preferred Skills:

•        Graduate degree or advanced studies

•        Experience with DOORS, Visio, MS Office Tools, UML, and ClearCase

•        Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodologies

•        Knowledge of Mortgage Industry is a plus

•        Experience with Object Oriented Programming Principles and Object Oriented Analysis and Design

•        Prior Knowledge of Single family Business Process and Data

•        Innovative in proposing solutions and Customer focused

•        Self-motivated, independent, and works with minimal direction

•        Excellent analytical, comprehension, communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
