Job Requirements

Location: St Pete, FL

Duration:  12 months+

Project Details:

  • Understand UI functionality and purpose for surfacing data.  Identify the various methods by which the user would want to be able to request/retrieve the data. 

  • Be able to test the Web service through the UI and a technology tool such as SOAP UI.

  • Create detailed business requirements for functional (e.g., business processes, rules) and non-functional (e.g., data, security) capabilities. 

  • Gather and interpret information from multiple sources

  • Coordinates and manages documentation for multiple streams of content and business requirement areas.

  • Detail functional specs which are consumed by developers. 

  • Translate technical concepts to business audience and business information to a technical audience.

  • Participate in developing estimates and implementation plans for technical solutions.

  • Validate test cases to ensure that scripts will evaluate the business function being performed.

  • Understand and apply principles in risk management, issue tracking and change management.


  • 7+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst

  • 2+ years’ experience with either Microsoft or Oracle SQL queries.

  • Expert understanding of financial principles and able to articulate that understanding in an interview.

  • Expert understanding of the SDLC and able to articulate that understanding in an interview.

  • Proficient in Team Foundation Server

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools to include but not limited to: Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and Visio.

  • Build up technical subject matter expertise by maintaining documentation and knowledge articles.
