Job Description:


 


Minimum of 7+ years overall IT experience: including 5+ years of web service development and integration experience, including a minimum of 3+ years as a technical lead


  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in development including a minimum of 3+ years leading development resources

  • Responsible for leading detailed design, development/unit testing and integration of applications

  • Produce scalable and flexible, high-quality code that satisfies both the functional and non-functional requirements

  • Lead root cause analysis and trouble shooting including performance tuning and bug remediation

  • Uses secure development best practices and design patterns

  • Create or update design and systems documentation for developed or modified services or programs

  • Create process and data flow diagrams for data movement capture

  • Cross train team members for full knowledge coverage on team

  • Analyze and translate business requirements to technical design

  • Lead root cause analysis and trouble shooting including bug remediation

  • Collaborate/communicate with project team and business users as required

  • Support functional testing and performance testing

  • Works with technical delivery lead on project activities

  • Ensure assigned work is implemented within project schedules

  • Deep knowledge of information technologies (Database, Business Intelligence,Infrastructure, Networks, Web & Integration software)

  • Mobile Application Development Experience

  • Solid web service development and system integration experience
    Strong Automotive OEM experience

  • Solid understanding of MicoService concepts and 12 Factor App design principle
    Proven technical leadership experience

  • Proven experience leading development teams (design-implementation-deployment)

  • Acted as a development mentor to technical teams

  • Springboot/Spring Framework

  • IBM Integration Bus (IIB), WebSphere MQ

  • Tivoli Access Manager

  • Oracle RDBMS

  • Business/Consumer-facing web applications, Web Services

  • IBM Datapower

  • IBM Mobile First

  • Apache SolrCloud

  • Continuous Integration Tools (SVN/Maven/Jenkins/JIRA)


 


Unique Skills:


Emphasis on experience with the following technologies:


  • Strong experience architecting and designing Single Page Applications using responsive design concept with Angular 4 or above.

  • Strong experience with designing and implementing Restful APIs using Spring Framework/Spring Boot.

  • Solid experience with designing and implementing multi language mobile solutions, particularly hybrid mobile apps and web apps using IONIC2 (Cordova/Angular) framework.

  • Experience designing/developing cloud native applications

  • Experience with Dev/Ops processes and tooling

  • Experience with application usage analytics and dashboard reporting

  • Experience with Solr schema design and implementation (content importing, indexing and searching)
