Senior Data Engineer

Overview
Sales Analytics team consumes data for reporting, deep data analysis, and advanced data science. Our team provides The Bank front office a clear view on client activities and profitability. We are building an interactive analytical platform where we will be defining, tracking key business metrics, and helping front office in day-to-day business decisions. We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong design skills, coding skills, and solid understanding of web development to help strengthen our capabilities and bring new expertise to our team.


Your Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and data loading from a variety of data sources using batch processing
• 
  Recommend ways to improve data reliability, efficiency, and quality
• 
  Ensure architecture supports business requirements
• 
  Bring high-quality data to end-users, including extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes, data analysis and preparation, and development of interactive presentation layer

Your Skills and Experience:

• 
  Experience with Scala and Apache Ecosystem (including Spark, Hive, and Hadoop)
• 
  Knowledge of Java
• 
  Experience with columnar Database Management (DBMS), preferably Clickhouse
• 
  Knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL)
• 
  Experience with algorithms and data structures
