The Business Analyst for Major Stations SF&A DT is responsible for the development and/or oversight and control of business and technical requirements for medium to large complexity capital projects and programs. Individuals in this role use technical knowledge and related experience to work with business and technical experts to identify and document requirements, processes, demands and speci?cations needed to complete project and program deliverables with a focus on e?ective use of people, tools, and technology within the context of the portfolio, considering other projects and inter-dependent work. Individuals in this role work independently with guidance and direction from the Major Stations Sr. Program Manager and Sr. Business Analyst.
At least 7 years of relevant experience in business analysis
Demonstrable knowledge of how Technology Design and Deployment lifecycle aligns and integrates with the Architectural and Engineering Construction lifecycles.
Experience in requirements elicitation for engineering design and deployment of technology infrastructure specifically building renovations, restacks, relocations, cabling, network, and systems
Must have strong quantitative skills and experience taking raw data and drawing actionable insights from it
Create and maintain business and technical requirements for Major Station capital construction projects.
Create and maintain key business processes (stakeholder management, requirements analysis, design reviews, construction reviews, financial management) for the Digital Technology function.
Create and maintain artifacts throughout the Requirements Management Life Cycle.
Create/maintain requirements traceability matrix.
Manage requirements elicitation process with key stakeholders and Digital Technology SMEs (Service Owners).
Professional demeanor with strong project management, problem solving, communication, and presentation skills.
Superb communication and stakeholder management skills with focus on collaboration, team building, and customer service.
E?ectiveness working diplomatically across teams with varying objectives.
Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure.
Based in Washington, DC/Baltimore metropolitan areas with some travel on occasion.
