Key Responsibilities



•        Serve as team technical expert



•        Analyze and review business, functional and technical requirements; create process flows/diagrams



•        Recommend changes in product, process and service improvement in development and configuration



•        Document technical aspects of new features



•        Manages code deployments from non-production to production environments



•        Maintains feature integrity throughout development, testing and production environments



•        Analyze, design, code, test, configure and modify Salesforce projects and enhancements without assistance from others



•        Prepare test data, plan and conduct feature testing; ensure that system improvements are successfully implemented and functional

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements



•        B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and work experience.



•        3+ years of experience with technical implementations.



•        Proficient in SFDC configuration, security, SOQL, and Apex.



•        Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools.



•        Application development experience with Object Oriented languages (Java, ASP, C#, C++, etc.)



•        Excellent communication skills



•        Salesforce.com Administrator 201 required and SFDC Developer Certification (401) required


Critical Skills



•        Experience implementing Salesforce.com in a large enterprise environment preferred.



•        Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners.



•        Elicit and define requirements for highly complex projects by reviewing, understanding, and analyzing business processes.



•        Strong communication (written, verbal) and facilitation skills



•        Strong decision and analytical skills.



•        Proven ability to work with leaders at varying levels to elicit and communicate requirements as well as manage change.



•        Applying functional knowledge and technical expertise in the design, development, and maintenance of custom solutions, mainly on force.com platform.



•        Perform optimizations of existing customizations to improve performance and provide a solid foundation for future changes.



•        Ability to create your own standards and process for development, documentation and architecture.



•        Consult on the functional test plans and conditions for assigned applications / for projects of varying complexity. Ensure that the test plans cover the testing of all defined functional requirements.



•        Support data analysis and validation from functional tests.



•        Able to gather data migration requirements, build migration plan and perform small to medium data migrations.



•        Train and mentor other colleagues on the Salesforce.com platform.



•        Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points.



•        Developing integration processes using Salesforce.com APIs.



•        Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation and triggers.


Additional Knowledge & Skills



•        Collaborative, customer-focused and able to create visible value.



•        Knowledge of project management principles.



•        Ability to be self-directed and anticipate needs of the end customer with ability to translate those needs into technology solutions.



•        Sales operations related experience preferred



•        The Salesforce developer is the technical expert for the McKesson Specialty Health Salesforce team. This person must demonstrate the ability to lead technical requirement gathering sessions and deliver complex technical solutions utilizing Apex, Triggers and Visualforce pages.



•        This individual must also have experience installing third-party tools in a Salesforce environment and maintaining integration information for all tools used to extend this instance of Salesforce.
