Disys is currently recruiting for a Salesforce Business System Analyst. This contract opportunity is with a manufacturing company in beautiful Portland, OR. Having partnered with this client for over 20 years, a high percentage of Disys consultants are approved for extensions. Additionally, we have an on-site Disys support team that is always available to directly assist both the consultants and the client. JOB FUNCTIONS:

Purpose:

Responsibilities include guiding work throughout the entire IT life cycle, which includes working with IT architects to identify a technical solution, facilitating IT estimates and staffing needs, providing work oversight and customer status, documenting and facilitating testing, and implementing the final solution.

Responsibilities

  • Change agent for Salesforce CoE to promote best practices that can transform Salesforce Implementation across.
  • Lead discovery and requirements gathering sessions. Recommend alternate approaches.
  • Communicate with the business throughout elaboration and development to identify their business needs
  • Map requirements to out-of-box functionality within Salesforce
  • Document business requirements and user stories
  • Create test cases and test scripts in accordance with the test plan
  • Collaborate with developers to test and verify that solutions will meet the business requirements
  • Work with end users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to accurately prioritize defects and re-test resolved issues
  • Train end users on new functionality
  • Perform Change Management functions, create training materials, and conduct stakeholder training
  • Manage Salesforce release activities and administration of instances and support
  • Establish strong partnership and collaboration with business areas to drive Salesforce.com usage and adoption
  • Follow an iterative software development methodology and contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle and support
  • Requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience on a Salesforce implementation through the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Experience soliciting, gathering, and analyzing user input and documenting requirements
  • Experience documenting user stories and creating to-be process flow diagrams
  • Heavy experience training end users
  • Ability to extrapolate business requirements and translate in to Salesforce functional requirements
  • Hands on experience configuring Salesforce, including workflows, validation rules, and security controls
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks within a collaborative team environment
  • Proven ability to drive change
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to all levels including executive management
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Experience Sales and Service Cloud Features
  • Salesforce Admin Certification
