This is an opportunity for up to 5 Salesforce Developers with expertise in SFDC and APEX.  If you are an expert SFDC and have a SFD certification, then this might just be your next opportunity.  These are perm day one opportunities and some relocation assistant may be available.



The Salesforce.com Developer role is responsible for supporting the on-going development, maintenance and configuration needs of the US Pharmaceutical instance of Salesforce.com for the Health Mart business unit. The support provided is within a team of administrators tasked with ongoing configuration of the existing Salesforce.com technology environment comprised of 800+ Salesforce.com users. The Salesforce.com Developer will work with internal sales business units and key stakeholders and the Salesforce.com Administration team to analyze their requirements, develop designs, and implement Salesforce.com and related systems. Hands on design and development of customer solutions on the force.com platform including significant work in Apex, VisualForce, application integration and data migration is expected in this role. 



Position Description


The Salesforce.com Developer position maintains responsibility for the successful delivery of projects and subsequent change management relative to the Salesforce.com software platform by applying knowledge of the applications functionality and client business requirements throughout the software development lifecycle. After implementation, the Administrator will be responsible for supporting the platform for the business unit and contributing to other various projects as required.


The position may provide project management guidance to project team, or make recommendations or actions to direct the analysis of and solution to problems. 

Job Requirements

Minimum Requirements


  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent training and work experience.

  • 3+ years of experience with technical implementations.

  • Proficient in SFDC configuration, security, SOQL, and Apex.

  • Experience with enterprise integration tools and extract, transformation and load (ETL) tools.

  • Application development experience with Object Oriented languages (Java, ASP, C#, C++, etc.)

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Salesforce.com Administrator 201 required and SFDC Developer Certification (401) required


Critical Skills


  • Experience implementing Salesforce.com in a large enterprise environment preferred.

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with business partners.

  • Elicit and define requirements for highly complex projects by reviewing, understanding, and analyzing business processes.

  • Strong communication (written, verbal) and facilitation skills

  • Strong decision and analytical skills.

  • Proven ability to work with leaders at varying levels to elicit and communicate requirements as well as manage change.

  • Applying functional knowledge and technical expertise in the design, development, and maintenance of custom solutions, mainly on force.com platform.

  • Perform optimizations of existing customizations to improve performance and provide a solid foundation for future changes.

  • Ability to create your own standards and process for development, documentation and architecture.

  • Consult on the functional test plans and conditions for assigned applications / for projects of varying complexity. Ensure that the test plans cover the testing of all defined functional requirements. Support data analysis and validation from functional tests.

  • Able to gather data migration requirements, build migration plan and perform small to medium data migrations.

  • Train and mentor other colleagues on the Salesforce.com platform.

  • Excellent listening skills to fully understand the customer requirements and pain points.

  • Developing integration processes using Salesforce.com APIs.

  • Create and manage complex workflow rules, data validation and triggers.

  • Knowledge of project management principles.

  • Ability to be self directed and anticipate needs of the end customer with ability to translate those needs into technology solutions.

  • Sales operations related experience preferred
