Job Overview:
We are currently looking to hire a System Engineer with Release Management experience to contribute toward the success of our Data Center and Cloud Program. The Release Manager is a senior process resource that possesses intermediate to advanced execution of Release Management activities such as the review of changes, creating and publishing delivery schedules and plans, coordinate the delivery of approved changes to both the test and production environments while leveraging ITSM best practices.
Responsibilities:
The Release Manager works across application and infrastructure areas to ensure changes are documented according to operational and audit requirements. This resource help plan and coordinate the release of infrastructure and application code, data loads, and other activities as we build out new data center and cloud environments.
Specific responsibilities include:
Responsible for enforcing and supporting the release management process
Create the environment release plan and coordinate the deployments of approved changes
Host the release bridge coordinating the deployment of approved changes to the new environment
Facilitate the review and approval of current and subsequent deployments
Coordinate troubleshooting with the required teams as needed
Create and publish lessons learned from each major event and update dependency maps to improve future deployments
Create and publish delivery schedules
Assist and support regular release management training

Requirements:
5+ years' experience in a Release Management role
Strong facilitation skills bringing various teams together to drive towards a common solution
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of products with particular emphasis on Outlook and Excel

Self-starter with strong process skills
Driven and Results Oriented
Attention to Detail
Preferences:
Experience with Service Now
Familiar with Agile delivery methodology, including JIRA and Confluence tools
