Job Description:   Release Engineering Job Title: Sr. DevOps Engineer Job Description: The Sr. DevOps Engineer is responsible for software configuration and release management activities for all Green Dot Corporation software. These activities include establishing a stable and efficient build process, developing and refining configuration management procedures, configuring software for, and deploying software to, various environments, and working with the development and QA teams to ensure software quality. 

Responsibilities
Primary responsibility is server/environment automation utilizing Infrastructure As Code (IAC) principles.
Remain at the forefront of technology, best practices, and our tools, become and remain a technology leader.
Manage server environments, automate monitoring, server logging tasks.
Attend meetings and effectively represent the department and clearly communicate project status.
Provide training to team members and/or other departments Skills/Experience: 7+ years of DevOps, Site-Reliability, System Engineering and/or Full Stack development experience
3+ years of Cloud Infrastructure experience AWS (preferred), Azure, etc
Knowledge of common DevOps industry standards and best practices.
Demonstrated leadership qualities ownership, accountability, maturity, self-motivated.
Demonstrated competency with core TCP/IP and networking principles (F5 a plus)
Solid knowledge of Windows and/or Linux management with either Ansible/Chef/Puppet/Salt 
Ability to setup and administer monitoring tools such as: SCOM, Nagios, etc 
Ability to setup and administer logging tools, (Splunk, etc) 
Demonstrable scripting in PowerShell or Python 
Terraform, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, JIRA, VMWare ESX experience not required but a plus
