Project Manager (REMOTE, East Coast ONLY)

Position: IT Project Manager

Location: REMOTE, EAST COAST ONLY

Duration> 6 month contract to start

The IT Project Manager will support the execution of AI/ ML and Data Science projects across global programs and services. Executions include working with multiple IT and business leadership/stakeholders and teams, Deliverables include, but are not limited to, creating work breakdown structures (WBS), project plans, project organization and communication, project recommendations, status reports and executive presentations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects with broad scope, ambiguity, and high degree of difficulty
Act as liaison across functional groups including IT , Procurement, Legal and Supply Chain
Expert knowledge on project planning, project execution and risk assessments. Management of vendor Statements of Work and Invoices.
Interface with AI/ ML and Data Science teams and support their logistical and technical needs.
Expert with a high level of analytical ability where problems are typically unusual and difficult
Gather and interpret complex qualitative or quantitative data
Maintain a working knowledge of cybersecurity principles and elements
Understand global program structure, launch plan and timing, and global program ownership

Required Skills:

Structured project management experience in deploying security-related initiatives
Proven record managing multi-million dollar IT projects
Must adapt to high-pressure and fast-speed working environment, with confident and positive personality
Solid analytical/problem-solving skills with capability to identify solutions to unusual and complex problems (priority on this skill )
Experience in managing identity and access management projects including identity provisioning, governance, access management, authentication, entitlement, etc. (priority on this skill)
Ability to handle ambiguity and make decisions and recommendations with limited data
Ability to work in a very fast paced environment with professionalism
Flexibility to propose alternative project strategy to technical team to achieve faster and /or more successful deployment
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, management information systems or equivalent is a plus
Experience working with Jira in an agile environment.
