Job Description

I have 10 KYC analyst and I team lead for a new team that is moving to the area. It will be with a Bank that is moving all there commercial mortgage operations to the area.


Manager would prefer commercial experience but will look at residential mortgage as well.


KYC Analyst/ Compliance Analyst



•   Analyze and discern corporate structures from legal entity formation documents such as articles of incorporation and partnership operating agreements



•   Enter legal entities and individuals into local applications or web based search engines for Sanctions/OFAC and PEP/negative news screening



•   Interact with corporate AML team to facilitate collection of additional information from Commercial Relationship Managers to expand information in KYC file



•   Analyze and discern basic information that would clear “false positive” matches from searches



•   Communicate with Relationship Managers, and bank customers occasionally, to explain information and documentation required to complete the KYC file



•   Refer matters to Compliance team or central AML team that can not be resolved locally



•   Interact with product fulfillment teams in commercial banking to indicate when files are complete



•   Assist with the collection, reporting, and tracking of High Risk, Enhanced Due Diligence documentation



•   Monitor Excel and other reports for aging and completion of KYC items in progress to ensure timely and accurate delivery and management reporting


Team Lead/KYC Analyst



•   Sort work to manage volumes and match skill with complexity of transaction



•   First level escalation for RM/Customer inquiries



•   First level of coaching team as question arise on individual files



•   Track team performance to report to unit manager

Job Requirements

KYC Analyst Requirements 

  • 1-3 years of KYC file experience
