Job Description

This is position will be working within the Employee Relations – Disputes & Allegations Team

Consultants will handle ethics line complaints, workplace conflict situations, disputes (performance, corrective action, compensation).

•        Responsible for designing and administering proactive programs and plans related to employee relations activities. 

•        Provides counsel and assistance to employees and all levels of management in employee or management issues.

•        Exercises judgment within broadly defined policies and practices. 

•        Recommends or takes appropriate actions to correct problems including assisting and/or advising management in the formal discipline or termination of employees.  

•        Provides training to managers and employees on employee relations issues. 

•        Conducts termination interviews and compiles statistical reports and information. 

•        Represents company at various employment hearings (mediation, wage/hour, equal employment, etc.)

*Candidates will have 20-30 cases open at any given time and will be given 5-7 new cases a day.

This is a very fast paced environment so exceptional organizational skills are highly important

Job Requirements

•        4+ years of experience in employee relations or human resources consulting.

•        Good understanding of various state and federal leave and sick pay laws

•        Experience with PeopleSoft

•        Background providing HR helpdesk support

•        Strong organizational skills
