BHJOB8895_110526  Lead Analyst will assist the manager of the FRS Team in support of companywide initiatives and global reporting, working collaboratively with Information Technology, Operations and Global F&A.  A fully integrated team member on multi-dimensional strategy projects in the Financial Reporting Systems Team.

Job Responsibilities:

•Identifies and is fully responsible for implementing process improvements and best practices for the monthly accounting and planning/forecasting processes as related to the reporting systems.

•Responsible for large scale system data validations on a daily basis.

•Manages numerous spreadsheet models requiring advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Adheres to internal control procedures, creating repeatable and automated processes for data and structure validation.

•Performs extensive detailed database hierarchy validation within the Hyperion System 11.X environment.

•Spends two weeks out of the month developing, maintaining, and documenting detailed standard reports, ensures that the standard reports are accurate and meet the needs of the organization.

•Works extensively in the following systems, Hyperion Financial Management and Hyperion Essbase Reporting and Planning (Workspace reports, Excel Add-in &, SmartView), SAP modules, Business Warehouse Tools , to perform job functions.

•Works closely with Information Technology to coordinate continuous improvement of output and access to information in Hyperion Essbase.

•Assists in establishing new metrics and new application development for the Hyperion Reporting Tools.

•Performs monthly close processes for 10 days out of the month which includes the internal reporting hierarchy and structure changes, validates all internal metrics reporting by incorporating standard variation methods.

•Manages and troubleshoots end-user problems on a daily basis monitoring the Hyperion help desk functional mailbox.

Education and Experience Requirements:

•Bachelor’s Degree, with concentration in Accounting, Finance or related field (MIS) required. MBA and/or CPA a plus

•Minimum 5+ years related financial planning/reporting / analysis experience

  • Any Hyperion system experience a plus

•Knowledge of accounting and finance principles

•Effective problem solving and communication skills

•Advanced PC skills, including extensive knowledge of spreadsheet functionality

•Knowledge of Essbase/Planning Hyperion reporting tools preferred

•Experience with SAP or BW is desirable but not imperative

•Ability to work independently and as a team player in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

•Ability to set and adjust individual priorities while managing changing deadlines

•Strong attention to detail with a proven ability to perform with a high degree of accuracy
