Job Title: Help desk Support

Location: Alameda, CA

Duration: 6+ months

Job Summary:

The position will be responsible for providing helpdesk support to HR professionals and HR Service Center members on HR systems and applications.

The position is part of a team providing support on HR related applications through the HR Helpdesk phone line and/or HR Helpdesk email address to HR professionals and will track and resolve common applications/systems problems.


Major responsibilities:

•          Responds to support calls and provides end-user application support including:

o          Answering questions, Researches, resolves and responds to complex questions via callbacks or escalations

o          Develops solutions for a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity, analyses, troubleshoots and resolves miscellaneous applications issues.

o          Logs calls and resolution into tracking system (ServiceNow)

o          Responsible for applications issues monitoring and responding to client specific feedback

o          May generate ad hoc or production reports from application supported

o          May coordinate internal facilities or other IT resources to resolve specific service requests

o          Maintains customer focus and positive client relationships

•          Tracks reported issues to HR Helpdesk regarding system navigation and application problems


Basic Requirements:

•          5+ years of experience with progressively complex information technology in a Call Center and/or Human Resources environment. Customer focused preferred.

•          Bachelor’s degree or Associate’s degree in IT related field of study

•          Advance understanding of HR applications is a plus

•          Customer Service orientation
