Job Description

DISYS is searching for a strong business Hardware Asset Manager.  This person will be working with all all aspects of IT Hardware asset management.   The asset manager will be responsible for cleaning up the existing data, providing guidance on future policy and drafting of governance documents to update policy and procedure.  The asset manager will also work with the Service Now team to update workflows and tracking to ensure compliance with policy and procedure.  

 Requirements
•             One or more of the following certifications preferred: ITILv3, CITAM, CHAMP
•             5+ years of experience properly managing the lifecycle of IT hardware assets
•             5+ years of experience properly maintaining and updating assets in an IT hardware asset inventory database
•             5+ years of experience maintaining and updating an IT hardware asset ordering catalog
•             Strong knowledge of authoring policies and best practices to manage IT hardware assets efficiently and cost-effectively
•             Experience with cost saving opportunities that increase the bottom line during the life cycle of hardware assets
•             Experience in process and delivery associated with IT asset management and procurement
