Job Description

This role will be responsible for the seamless operation of the National Business Development team, providing financial analysis, operation implementation support, and ongoing assessment of internal KPI’s.

This position requires someone highly trained in SAP, high attention to detail, high degree of initiative, able to work independently and with excellent interpersonal skills in order to be an influence among different departments within the  Retail organization.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Financial Performance:
•    Manage monthly forecast process. Update monthly OPEX & CAPEX assumptions based on team input and activity.
•    Determine monthly variances between forecast and actuals, deep dive drivers in SAP, and present monthly summary to PMAT lead.
•    Work with cost owners and retail Ops to prepare monthly accrual transactions.
•    Monitor general ledger activity, work with cost owners/retail Ops to ensure costs booked accordingly with business needs.
•    Work closely with PMAT lead to gather requirement assumptions for 2019 budget cycle.
•    Manage RBD “Transformation” initiatives. Track actuals vs. cost reduction/investment targets.
•    Conduct monthly partner financial performance analyses, quarterly store level deep dives, recommend corrective actions, and drive alignment discussions for implementation.

Operational Optimization:
•    Support CI in the development of all RBD standard work that involves all RBD back-end operation.
•    Discover areas of opportunities across all processes that impact RBD, identify best-in-class examples, and implement benchmarks/changes where operational viability allows.
•    Develop RBD performance dashboard, support VP in the development of RBD pillars strategic goals, and track monthly/quarterly performance against team goals.
•    Create a master calendar to support RBD team visualize critical milestones towards the successful completion of 2018 goals.

Partner Payment Process
•    Manage partner lease contracts and monthly rent payments.
•    Work closely with sourcing to keep all SAP accounts up to date (PR’s, PO’s, etc) to ensure compliance with all partner’s needs.
•    Manage commissions, residuals, and any other partner incentive. Track payment movements in SAP, ensure payments hit partner side, and lead internal communication within RBD team.
•    Work closely with IT and operations to ensure payment reports are accurate and on time to meet partner’s deadlines.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or accounting from an accredited college or university required. 

•    3+ years as business analyst or any related experience in a financial/accounting role required.
•    Experience with financial budget and forecasting. 
•    Experience with Excel macros, pivot table, and comfortable manipulating data through spreadsheet tools in order to perform financial analysis from different sources.
•    Highly trained in SAP application required. Experience with Hyperion Planning systems a plus.
•    Experience working in cross-functional teams and demonstrated level of success influencing others outside the BD organization to accomplish task in hand. 
•    Electricity/Utility operations experience a plus.

•    Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal. 
•    Demonstrated strong work ethic and teamwork attitude.
•    Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, and Power Point). 
•    Experience with Microsoft Visio and MS Project a plus 
•    Experience with executive power point presentations/executive reports a plus.
