Job Title - Data Analyst/programmer 2
Job Location - Peoria, IL || Chicago, IL (Hybrid 3 days onsite)
Job Duration - 12 Months.
The main function of a database analyst/programmer is to coordinate changes to computer databases, test, and implement the database applying knowledge of database management systems. A typical database analyst/programmer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing security measures to safeguard the computer database.
Job Responsibilities:
- Test programs or databases, correct errors and make necessary modifications.
- Modify existing databases and database management systems or direct programmers and analysts to make changes.
- Write and code logical and physical database descriptions and specify identifiers of database to management system or direct others in coding descriptions.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Basic knowledge of database management software.
- Proficiency in data analysis.
- Accomplished in the use of business tools for communicating ideas.
- SQL / Snowflake (coding experience)
- MS Excel (& Access)
Education/Experience:
- Associate degree in computer programming or equivalent training required.
- 2-4 years' experience required.
Position's Contributions to Work Group:
- To develop and provide worldwide functional customer support, problem identification and resolution for IT solutions and to develop business transformation processes. To serve as a Business/Data Analyst and subject matter expert in a specialized parts and service marketing field or specialty area where decisions and recommendations are made for strategic advantage and contribute to Percent of Parts Sales for Clients branded parts growth.
