Job Description for the Collections Representative:
Collect delinquent payments from customers via phone pay, Quick Collect and mail, while adhering to regulatory requirements. Negotiate payment solutions on delinquent accounts when the customer cannot make an immediate payment. Provide superior customer service to both external and internal customers with phone courtesy providing appropriate follow-up, ensuring a Customer One approach is taken. Daily management of collection queue of up to 120 accounts ensuring that each is worked at least every 3rd day. 
 

Qualifications of the Collections Representative include:

  • Stable Job History
  • 1-3 years of collections experience

Job Requirements

Reaponsiblitive for Ciollections Representative:

  • When contact is a challenge, perform skip tracing to locate clients and collateral by obtaining phone numbers and address for delinquent customers through authorized means 
  • Updating customer
  • demographic information 
  • In depth location of customers via internet resources and public record databases such as TLO and Accurint. 
  • Present recommendations to management regarding the final resolution for uncollectible
  • Accounts. 
  • Utilize our Skip Vendor network to assign difficult to locate customers. Utilize our Repossession
  • Aggregator network to assign collateral out for repossession when acceptable arrangements 
  • cannot be met. Build a relationship with our external Skip Vendors and  Repossession Aggregators and report their strengths and opportunities to management. 
  • Offer feedback and recommendations on processes currently in place and training reference materials.
