Overview
We are part of the Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) Technology group, responsible for Production Services across CLM. With a follow the sun support model we provide 24*7 coverage of critical Know Your Customer (KYC) applications which directly support regulatory compliance and revenue generation across the Bank. KYC plays an integral part in the Bank's first line of defense against financial crime by defining and sustaining Client Record Data for the Bank; this covers the KYC Lifecycle and interfaces with Client & Book Reference Data, Tax, and Regulatory Requirements. Working with colleagues across Operations and Technology, you will be responsible for managing several applications which enable the Bank to onboard new Clients, extend existing trading relationships, and manage KYC workflow. You will thrive when working under pressure and to tight deadlines, often with changing priorities.

Your Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage a team of Production Engineers working in Cary and supporting the US region

  • Provide a local escalation point for all CLM applications and face off to senior managers in Operations and the Business

  • Collocate with developers to build strong and effective inter-team relationships. This will incorporate significant elements of Agile working and Site Reliability Engineering

  • Quickly build technical subject matter expertise and own the Production Service

  • Continuous Service Improvement will be a significant focus for this role



Your Skills and Experience:


  • Extensive experience in either an IT Support or Development role, preferably a mix of both

  • Proven expertise in a technical discipline - such as Java, Programming Languages (PL)/ Structured Query Language (SQL), or shell scripting. Able to evidence how these skills can be used to improve the production environment

  • Experienced team lead with the capability to build a high performing team

  • Experience of agile working practices, especially where these have been utilized in production

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience and to senior management
