Job Description



•       Oracle and/or Glovia On the job experience

•       Minimum one year of payment posting

•       Must have experience working with excel - filters, pivots and vlookup

•       Must be able to work paperless for accurate record keeping on PDFs

•       Must be skilled at organizing Outlook conversation histories, setting meeting requests, shared inboxes

•       Must have a willingness to learn and be self motivated

•       Must have familiarity with ERP and data entry

•       Accurate & timely posting of lockbox, wire & ACH payments to customer's invoices.

•       Transfer payments to other NOV divisions and post payments from other NOV divisions.

•       Research payments when needed for accurate posting. Must have exceptional customer service, computer skills, work paperless and agility with systems.

Posting Daily Deposits against invoices: checks, ACHs and wires Intercompany transactions: processing transactions to and from other divisions/ledgers Identify and communicate discrepancies in payments received with department credit analysts Work with Intercompany accountants and general accounting to ensure proper closeout of invoices Communicate with sales and project management on status of accounts and payments as needed Researches unidentified payments for proper posting Responsible for month- end closing activity Run customer credit cards accurately and gather correct backup for posting Must be responsible with sensitive information and have a high sense of integrity Provides quality and professional customer service to all internal and external personnel Other special projects as assigned Additional tasks/duties as assigned by Finance Management and Supervisor/Manager
