Manage the deployment and configuration of hundreds of servers
Install and deploy software
Design, develop and test software applications.
Set up monitoring systems for all new hardware and software
Perform and automate, and monitor daily database backups and maintenance
Automate and maintain disaster recovery procedures, user assistance and troubleshooting
Automate repetitive tasks.
Configure and manage the automated deployment process
Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications meet technical requirements
Diagnose performance issues both in the lab and in production, and propose and implement improvements
Analyze and resolve complex technical problems, particularly pertaining to Big Data products and applications
Plan database and server level capacity according to statistics and user requests
Provide 24x7 on-call production support

Requirements:
5 years of experience in Linux administration, memory, file systems, networking and debugging.
3+ years of experience with Cassandra. (OR any other NoSQL database)
3+ years of programming skills in Shell Scripting, Python and Perl.
3+ years of experience with Kafka (administration, configuration, troubleshooting).
Deep understanding of certificate management, TLS troubleshooting, single sign-on, encryption ciphers and key management.
3+ years of hands-on experience of using standard CICD/devops tools such as GitHub, Ansible, and build tools like Concourse, Jenkins.
Excellent in troubleshooting Java application and network related issues.
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
Experience in writing technical system admin guides, installation guides and troubleshooting guides.
Knowledge of cloud computing technologies (AWS, Azure, CloudFoundry, etc.).
Degree: BS in computer science, computer engineering.
Desired Skills:
Working knowledge of network principles such as DNS, DHCP and TFTP is desired.
Experience with LaaS Stack (Elastic Search, logstash, Kibana) for monitoring.
Experience with Prometheus and Grafana collection and monitoring.
Familiarity with Kubernetes and Docker.
Experience of NoSQL (Mongo, Redis, etc.)
