Job Description

IAM (AD) Active Directory Analyst

IAM (AD) Active Directory Analyst is part of the Identity and Access Management Program. Both the program and the workstream are in progress, having started in mid-2015. The purpose of the AD Workstream is two-fold:

 (1) Remediate known deficiencies, including but not limited to those identified by AD audit findings

 (2) make solutions sustainable by addressing root causes, e.g., creating policy and processes, so that the same deficiencies do not recur.

The IAM (AD) Active Directory Analyst role includes:

  • Identify AD content to be removed from AD for various reasons such as obsolescence, creating batches for removal by HPE and validating that removal was completed
  • Identify gaps in AD policies and standards
  • Document AD data standards
  • Review AD policies and processes
  • Facilitate suppliers / stakeholders to design policy, process, and tool solutions to reduce risk and improve operational security of Active Directory
